Full description
HazelBoard is the whole periodic table in your pocket, paired with a quiz that actually makes it stick. THE TABLE Every one of the 118 elements is here, laid out exactly as you would find it on a classroom wall — including the lanthanide and actinide rows. Tap any element to open its full record: - Atomic number, symbol, standard atomic weight and family - Electron configuration in noble-gas shorthand, plus an animated Bohr shell diagram built from it - Group, period and block - State at room temperature, electronegativity and density - Melting and boiling points in both kelvin and Celsius - Who discovered it, when, and a one-line note on why it matters Search by name, symbol or atomic number, filter to a single family, and recolour the whole table by family, by state of matter, or by how well you know each element. THE QUIZ Five question types, mixed however you like: - Symbol to name — you see Fe, you name Iron - Name to symbol — the other direction - Atomic number — match 26 to its element - Family — place an element in its group - Configuration — read [Ne] 3s2 3p5 and name the element Choose an 8, 12 or 20 question round. Pick a pool: the first 36 elements, the first 86, or all 118. Narrow a round to a single family when you want to drill the noble gases or the transition metals on their own. Wrong answers are never random — distractors are drawn from neighbouring elements and the same family, so the round teaches instead of guessing. WHAT STICKS, AND WHAT DOES NOT Every answer feeds a per-element mastery record. HazelBoard tracks how often you get each element right, promotes it through Learning, Familiar and Mastered, and builds a review queue that always puts your weakest and stalest elements first. The Study screen shows how much of the table you have mastered and breaks it down family by family. The Records screen keeps your full round history and charts your accuracy over time. Star any element to keep it on a shortlist. Chase twelve achievements, from your first finished round to mastering all six noble gases. COMPLETELY OFFLINE No account. No sign-in. No ads. No tracking. No network code at all — the release build requests zero permissions. Every element record ships inside the app, so it works on a plane, on the underground, or anywhere with no signal. Your progress lives in a private database on your own device and is gone the moment you uninstall. Built for chemistry students, teachers, quiz-night regulars, and anyone who has ever wanted to finally tell tellurium from terbium.
