Full description
Band4s-16 is an abstract board game that you can play against the computer or in two-player mode. In single-player mode, you can undo your last move, making it easier to correct strategic errors on the fly. You can also review all the moves made—ideal for analyzing tactics and improving in future games. A notable feature of the game is that opponent pieces located anywhere on the board can be captured in a single move! This is because a single piece can form multiple "two-in-a-row" lines simultaneously—whether horizontally, vertically, or diagonally—. Game rules: 1. Objective: To have the highest number of face-up pieces on the board at the end of the game. 2. Capturing tiles.- Opposing pieces can be flipped in three different ways, depending on the game mode: - UNABAND4S Variant: If a player forms a "two-in-a-row" using pieces that share only one matching side band—meaning the band is in the same position and of the same color (white or black)—any unflipped opposing pieces featuring that band in that same color, located in a straight line on either side of the "two-in-a-row," must be flipped over. - DOSBAND4S: In this mode, piece are captured when a "two-in-a-row" formation has only two matching side bands; opposing pieces featuring those same two colored bands are then flipped over. - TRESBAND4S: In this mode, pieces are captured if the ‘two-in-a-row’ formation has exactly three matching side bands; opposing pieces featuring those three bands in those colors are flipped over. Pieces that cannot be captured.- Opponent pieces protected by a barrier cannot be flipped. Barriers are the unflipped pieces belonging to the player who achieved the ‘two-in-a-row’ that are positioned in front of the pieces one wishes to flip. 3. How to play: - The pieces of each color are placed on the board one by one, linking them together. - The first round is played in the central square, with each player placing a piece on one of the two spaces of their color. - The cells of the inner concentric squares will always take precedence over the cells of the outer squares. 4. Prohibition.- You cannot form a “three-in-a-row”, that is, place three face-up pieces of the same color together in a straight line—horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. 5. Passing the turn.- If a player cannot make a move—either because they cannot link their pieces or because doing so would form a "three-in-a-row"—they must pass their turn. Download the app and try it out now.
