Full description
See what the SceneView SDK can do, on your own phone, before you write a line of code. SceneView is an open-source 3D and augmented reality SDK for Jetpack Compose, SwiftUI, and the web. This app is its demo: nearly 50 screens, each one a working sample of a feature you can put in your own app. Every screen links to the source code that draws it, and most of them are only a few lines long. START HERE - Cosmos — a galaxy, a particle collision, a flow field and a ringed star system, joined by a camera tour that flies you through them. Touch the screen to take the camera back. - Rerun AR Replay — watch a real AR session rebuild itself in 3D. WHAT THE SAMPLES SHOW - 3D models — load GLB and glTF files, play their animations, and orbit, pinch, and zoom the camera. - Augmented reality — place a model on a table, hang something flat against a wall, track images and faces, and measure a real distance. - Real-world blending — real furniture and people stay in front of virtual objects, and the room's own light lights the model. - Lighting and materials — swap HDR environments and watch reflections and shadows change in real time. - Anchors, depth, physics, geometry, spatial audio, radiance fields, and more. - Your own files — open a GLB, glTF, OBJ, STL, PLY, or 3MF file and see how the SDK renders it. FOR DEVELOPERS A 3D model on screen is one composable, and AR placement is one call. Find the screen that looks like what you want to build, open its code, and copy it into your project. The SDK, the samples, and this app are free and open source. github.com/sceneview/sceneview PRIVACY No account, no ads, no cross-app tracking. Your models and the camera feed are processed on your device — the camera is used only for AR, and nothing it sees is stored or uploaded. The app sends usage statistics and crash reports (Firebase), never linked to your identity, to decide what to improve next — you can turn them off in About › Privacy & notifications. Beyond that, two things reach the network, and only when you ask for them: searching the online model galleries, and the handful of samples that host an anchor with Google's ARCore cloud service. What's new

Fixed - Android: a rendered frame no longer calls onFrame on every plain node of the scene (#4451). SceneView and ARSceneView handed each frame to every root, and Node.onFrame recurses into every child: one virtual call, one time-step computation and one child iteration per node and per frame, for a tree where most nodes have nothing to do. Each scene now walks its tree once, keeps the calls that walk made — a smooth transform to advance, an onFrame callback or a library hook to invoke — in…
