Éist (pronounced "esht", Irish for "listen") is an offline-first text-to-speech audiobook reader. Import a book, choose a voice and press play. When it's on, upcoming text excerpts are sent to Éist and independent cloud providers, whose operators can access them. It can use mobile data, which you can turn off.
