Full description
Want a dumbphone, but still need maps, banking, WhatsApp, or an authenticator app? ClearHour brings dumbphone simplicity to Android with a calmer home screen. It blocks all apps by default, while keeping essential phone functions and a few everyday apps you choose available. Finally you can configure your individual dream dumbphone today! 📱 Keep the tools your life needs • Supported phone essentials—including calls, messages, camera, alarms and supported payment apps. • Choose the extra apps you need, such as maps, banking or WhatsApp, Authenticator. These work normally throughout the day. 🕒 Rules you set ahead Choose one hour each day—your Clear Hour—to review your app choices, access limits and pause schedules. Outside that window, you cannot change the rules you configured. Clear Hour is only for changing your rules. Your existing rules still apply during the Clear Hour itself. 🌿 Come home to a calmer phone Clear Home is an optional minimalist launcher. Personalize its appearance, including with your own photo background, and create your own dumbphone-style home screen. 📅 Planned pauses — flexibility with intention Plan dumbphone breaks for work, study, weekends or travel. Set recurring weekly schedules or pauses for specific dates. Your usual rules return automatically when the pause ends. Pause schedules can only be created or changed during your daily Clear Hour. New or expanded access starts tomorrow at the earliest, and active pauses cannot be extended. ⏳ Room for occasional needs • Timed Access: optional 2–5 minute sessions, with up to 3 opens per hour shared across all blocked apps. Each session opens one app and ends automatically, with no extensions. You can turn this off. So urgent or important use cases are still possible, like Uber, banking etc, And then your phone turns back to dumb again. • Recovery Pass: a limited 30-minute repair window for setup mistakes or compatibility problems. It does not automatically unlock blocked apps. 📋 Start with three chosen apps Supported phone essentials are included in every plan. Try the Max plan free for 14 days. Mo payment details are needed and the introductory trial does not automatically charge. • Free: 3 chosen apps. • Plus: 5 chosen apps. • Max: 10 chosen apps. 🔒 Permissions and privacy ClearHour uses Android's AccessibilityService API to detect app openings and apply your rules. Optional Uninstall Protection uses Device Administrator and limited Android Settings labels to recognize removal screens. Your app inventory and Accessibility observations stay on your phone. ClearHour does not read messages, passwords or typed text.
