ClawAgent Live

ClawAgent is the companion app for ClawLink. A parent or guardian sets rules in their own ClawLink account, and ClawAgent applies them on this phone: it blocks the apps and website categories they choose, locks the screen, and shows their alerts. This app is not used on its own. The phone must first be enrolled to a ClawLink account, and the person who uses the phone must agree during setup. ★ What it does on Android • App & content blocking (parental control) — sends a blocked app or website category back to the home screen, only for the categories and time slots the guardian chose. Other apps keep working. • Screen lock — lock the phone's screen remotely from the ClawLink portal. • Alerts — show a notification sent from the ClawLink portal. • Tamper protection — if a security code is set, turning off ClawAgent's permissions requires that code. ★ How ClawAgent uses the Accessibility service (AccessibilityService API) The app & content blocking feature needs Android's AccessibilityService API. It is optional, off by default, and turned on only after you read an in-app explanation, agree, and switch it on yourself in Android settings. It is used for these purposes only: • Detects which app (or which kind of website in a supported browser) is on screen, and sends it back to the home screen if the guardian blocked that category or time slot. • Reads the browser address bar only to sort the page into a category (for example "video"). The address is discarded on the phone at once and is never stored or sent. • Notices when someone opens Android settings to switch off ClawAgent's device-admin or accessibility permission while a security code is set, and sends them back to the home screen. This protection is part of the parental-control feature, set up with the guardian's approval. It does not read passwords, messages, or other screen content, does not tap or perform gestures for you, and the data is not sold or used for ads. ★ Reliable background operation The app runs as a foreground service with a visible notification and restarts after a phone reboot, so the rules stay in effect. ★ Also on computers ClawAgent is also available for Windows and Linux computers. ────────── You'll need to enroll this device to your ClawLink account before use.
