Full description

Your solar panels make cheap power all day — but under today's net-metering rules, the surplus you send back to the grid earns pennies, and you buy it back at night for far more. ampee flips that math. ampee automatically charges your electric car from your surplus solar, second by second, so your own sunshine powers your miles instead of being sold back cheap. Set it up once and forget it — ampee handles the rest, 24/7. WHY DRIVERS LOVE IT - Completely hands-off — ampee watches your solar and adjusts your charging automatically. No timers, no babysitting. - Real savings — the average solar home saves hundreds of dollars a year by charging on the sun instead of the grid. - Charge on YOUR terms — set a target charge level, a "ready by" time, and let ampee fill the rest from free solar. - See everything — a live view of your solar, home, battery, and car, plus your savings over time. - Smart notifications — ampee tells you why charging started, paused, or finished, so you're never guessing. HOW IT WORKS 1. Connect your car and your solar. 2. Set your preferences once (target charge, minimum solar, ready-by time). 3. ampee charges automatically whenever there's surplus sun — and pauses when clouds roll in or your home needs the power. WORKS WITH - Cars: Tesla (controlled directly), plus Ford, Rivian, Volvo and others through a compatible OCPP smart charger. Any EV works with a supported home charger. - Solar & energy: Enphase, SolarEdge, Tesla Solar & Powerwall, and whole-home energy monitors like Sense and Emporia — so ampee can read your production and your home's usage. WHAT YOU'LL NEED ampee needs a way to read your solar (an inverter, battery, or energy monitor) and a way to control charging (a Tesla, or any car plus a smart OCPP charger). It's built for homes with rooftop solar and an EV. Put your sun on auto-drive. Download ampee and start charging on sunshine.
