ToFEI School Compliance

ToFEI is the official Tobacco-Free Educational Institutions monitoring app for the Department of Health, Medical & Family Welfare, Government of Andhra Pradesh, under the National Tobacco Control Programme. Schools use it to record the nine activities required under Section 6(b) of COTPA 2003 and to submit photographic evidence for review by district and state officers. BUILT FOR SCHOOLS WITH NO SIGNAL Sign in once where there is internet, then work offline for the rest of the day. Photographs, answers and locations are saved on the phone and upload automatically when the network returns. Designed for tribal and remote mandals where connectivity is unreliable. THE NINE ACTIVITIES - Tobacco-free signage inside the school - Boundary signage at the school gate - Clean premises, free of tobacco waste - Tobacco awareness material on display - A tobacco control awareness activity - Nominated Tobacco Monitors - The school's written no-tobacco policy - The 100-yard tobacco-free zone - Nearby tobacco sellers, with a shop register EVIDENCE THAT CAN BE TRUSTED Every photograph carries its capture location, device and time, and is checked against the school's registered position. Each photo is reviewed automatically and then confirmed by an authorised officer, who records why it was accepted or rejected. IN YOUR LANGUAGE English, Telugu and Urdu, with right-to-left layout for Urdu. COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATE Schools that complete all nine activities can download an official bilingual certificate showing the school name, UDISE code and academic year. This app is intended for school heads, nodal officers and authorised government staff.
