JapSathi (Jap Counter)

JapSathi is a calm companion for your daily jap and mantra practice. Count at your own pace, keep separate counters for your mantras, and return to your saved sessions whenever you need. COUNT YOUR WAY • Tap once for each jap. • Keep independent counters for different mantras. • Choose your mala size and daily goal. • Use focus mode and optional vibration on supported devices. • Undo your most recent manual count. KEEP YOUR PRACTICE HISTORY • View daily totals, a seven-day chart and your current practice streak. • Start a new session without deleting the previous one. • Resume archived sessions without duplicating counts. • Export your history as CSV. BACK UP YOUR HISTORY • Practice history is encrypted on your device. • Create a passphrase-protected backup and restore it by merging with existing history. • Keep your backup file and passphrase safe: clearing app data or uninstalling can remove your local history. OPTIONAL ESTIMATED COUNTING Calibrate your usual pace, then use timer-based estimates. Auto mode does not listen to you or detect chanting. Estimates pause when you leave the app and are added only after you review and accept them. SIX INTERFACE LANGUAGES English, Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil and Telugu. Names you give your mantras remain exactly as you enter them. The public guide and privacy notice are in English. WORKS OFFLINE Core counting, history and backups work without an account. This release has no ads, analytics, microphone recording or in-app purchases. Device encryption is not a screen lock and cannot protect a compromised device. Backup passphrases cannot be recovered.
