Trip Reality Check

Trip Reality Check is your personal travel due-diligence kit for trips within India. Set your own expectations on hotels, weather, timing and budget FIRST - then judge any package quote against them, instead of taking it on faith. DESTINATION GUIDE - 15+ curated Indian destinations: Gangtok, Darjeeling, Manali, Shimla, Munnar, Ooty, Goa, Udaipur, Jaipur, Rishikesh, Kerala Backwaters, Andaman and more - Best months to visit and how the weather actually behaves season by season - Family-friendly things to do at each destination - Realistic hotel price bands per night (budget / mid-range / premium) so you know what a package SHOULD roughly cost - Watch-outs the brochures skip: permits, altitude, road closures, seasonal shutdowns - Add your own destinations - saved privately on your device LIVE WEATHER AND PRICES (when online) - One-tap live 7-day forecast for any listed destination, powered by the open Open-Meteo weather service - Jump straight to live hotel prices on Google Hotels or Booking.com in your browser HOTEL VALIDATOR An online travel agency's "3-star" or "4-star" tag is a self-declared category - not an independent quality measure. This 12-point reality check scores any hotel listing using the things that actually go wrong: review recency, photo authenticity, view and room-type confirmation, hot water and heating, meal inclusions, location, monsoon road access, cancellation terms and more. Combined with the hotel's Google rating, you get a clear verdict: book it, verify directly first, or walk away. BUDGET ESTIMATOR Build an independent trip estimate from the destination's price bands - hotel, local transport and sightseeing - then compare it against the package total you were quoted. If the quote is far above the estimate, the app tells you plainly and suggests asking for an itemised break-up. SAVED CHECKS Every hotel you score is saved on your device so you can compare options for the same trip side by side before booking. PRIVATE BY DESIGN - No sign-up, no account, no tracking, no ads - Everything you enter stays in your device's storage - The only internet use is the weather forecast you request and the price links you open Built for Indian families who want to walk into any travel booking knowing what things should cost.
