Is my child okay today, and is anything waiting on me? Almanac answers both questions the moment you open it. It is your child's school, in your pocket: the register, the homework diary, the teacher's remarks and the school notice board, straight from the school's own records. Almanac is provided by your child's school. Your school sends you an invitation; you set a password and your children appear, already linked. TODAY, AT A GLANCE Home opens on one card: whether your child was marked present today, or that the register is not in yet. Below it, only what needs you: homework due soon, a new remark, a notice from the school. When nothing is waiting, the page says so and lets you get on with your day. AN ABSENCE NEVER GOES UNNOTICED If your child is marked absent and nobody has told the school why, Almanac tells you first and asks one question. Choose a reason, add a note or a doctor's certificate, and the school has it in under a minute. THE CLASS, IN FULL - Attendance: the month's register, day by day, with explained and unexplained absences marked plainly. - Homework: the diary grouped by due date, with the task exactly as the teacher wrote it and any attachments. - Timetable: today's periods, or the whole week. - Subjects and teachers: who teaches what, with the class teacher pinned to the top. - Progress cards: every released term, as a readable document and as the printed card the school issued. REMARKS FROM TEACHERS Read what your child's teachers have recorded, and reply where the school has opened a conversation. THE SCHOOL NOTICE BOARD School-wide and class notices in one place. CALM BY DESIGN Almanac never grades your child, never ranks children against each other and never shows you advertising. Colour is kept for good days; the only things that interrupt you are an unexplained absence and anything about your child's safety. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your school controls who has an account. Almanac shows no ads, does not track you across other apps and never sells data. Turn on Face ID to keep your child's records locked to you. Almanac is available to families and teachers at schools that use Almanac. If your school has not invited you yet, ask the school office.
