The Gatekeeper is an optional focus protection feature: when you attempt to open high-distraction applications during your focus hours, the Gatekeeper detects the launch at the operating system level and returns you to a calm pause screen. It breaks the compulsive reflex before it becomes thirty lost minutes. Accessibility Service use: The Gatekeeper uses Android's AccessibilityService to detect when a restricted app is brought to the foreground. It reads only the window package name — it does not access, read, or store any screen content, keystrokes, personal data, or usage information. The feature is disabled by default, requires your explicit permission, and is fully revocable from your device settings at any time. ────────────────────────── THE NIGHT FORGE — END-OF-DAY PROTOCOL At the close of each day, the Night Forge opens: a brief, private protocol to record honest field notes — what held, what broke, what you carry forward.
