The Gateway

The Gateway generates precision binaural beats in real time using on-device sine wave synthesis. Nothing is pre-recorded or streamed. Every session is built on the focus level system described in two declassified U.S. government documents from the CIA FOIA Reading Room: the 1983 U.S. Army "Analysis and Assessment of Gateway Process" and the 1977 Gateway Experience Intermediate Workbook. WHAT'S INSIDE • Focus 10 and Focus 12 binaural sessions with no time limits • A real-time audio engine with per-stage frequency transitions and smooth fades • Procedurally generated ambient sounds: brown, pink, and white noise, rain, ocean, wind, cave, singing bowls, and a 432 Hz drone • Seven Daily Tools — short guided practices that work without headphones • Session history with progress tracking • A Learn section on auditory entrainment and the Focus Level system • Background playback with lockscreen controls HOW IT WORKS A binaural beat is created when each ear hears a slightly different frequency. Your brain perceives the difference as a slow rhythmic pulse and tends to follow it — a phenomenon called auditory entrainment. Sessions move through timed stages targeting delta, theta, alpha, beta, or gamma ranges. Stereo headphones are recommended for binaural sessions; Daily Tools need none. PRIVACY FIRST No ads. No third-party analytics or tracking. No account required. Your sessions stay on your device. Focus 15, Focus 21, the custom session builder, and Companion Exercise Modules arrive in a future Android update. The Gateway is a wellness and relaxation tool. It makes no medical claims and is not a substitute for professional care.
