KITE: KEY

KITE Authenticator is a secure Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) solution developed by KITE to protect access to all applications hosted under its platform. The app adds an additional layer of security beyond the traditional username and password by generating Time-based One-Time Passwords (TOTP) directly on the user’s mobile device, ensuring safe and seamless login for teachers and administrators. With KITE Authenticator, you can register using your official email and mobile number. Once verified through OTP, the app securely links your account to KITE’s applications. During login, instead of relying on SMS-based OTP, the app generates time-sensitive codes locally on your device. These codes are verified through KITE’s secure TOTP servers, ensuring strong protection against phishing, SIM swapping, and unauthorized access. KITE Authenticator is designed with enterprise-grade security practices including encryption, token binding, and server validation. The app seamlessly integrates with KITE’s application ecosystem, making it easier for users to manage their accounts and maintain privacy while ensuring compliance with educational data security standards. Key Features: Simple registration with email and mobile number. Verification through OTP for secure onboarding. Link multiple KITE applications for centralized 2FA. Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) generation without SMS dependency. Works even when your device is offline (no internet or SMS required for TOTP codes). Enhanced protection against account takeover and identity theft.
