Shelf

Shelf — your private, local-first organiser Shelf is a calm, secure home for everything that matters: your notes, journals, ideas, project boards, documents and passwords — all in one beautifully simple app. No accounts. No cloud. No tracking. Everything stays on your device, encrypted and offline. Most apps ask you to trust a server somewhere far away. Shelf doesn't. Your data is stored locally and protected with strong on-device encryption, so your private thoughts and files never leave your phone. It is your space, and only yours. THREE SIMPLE SPACES Shelf is organised into three clear spaces, so you always know where things live: • Shelf — your notebooks, journals and ideas • Rack — your files, documents and scans • Vault — your passwords and sensitive files, locked behind biometric protection FIVE NOTEBOOK TEMPLATES Every notebook is built for a different way of thinking. Pick the one that fits, and just start: • Journal — a clean, dated timeline for daily entries, reflections and memories. Look back on your days at a glance. • Minimalist — a distraction-free writing space that flows like a document. Start at the top, keep typing, and jump between chapters instantly with simple # headings. • Brainstorming — capture ideas as cards, tag them by colour, and arrange them freely on a canvas or a tidy grid. • Project Hub — briefings, checklists, notes and links in one place, with a live progress bar to run any project from start to finish. • Kanban — a drag-and-drop board with To Do, In Progress and Done columns to move your work forward. RACK — YOUR FILES, ORGANISED Store PDFs and images in tidy folders. Scan paper documents straight from your camera, import several files at once, then rename, share, or move things between folders and the Vault. A simple, private filing cabinet that lives in your pocket. VAULT — LOCKED AND ENCRYPTED Keep passwords and your most sensitive files in the Vault, protected by fingerprint or face unlock. Everything inside is encrypted on your device, so it stays yours alone — even if your phone is lost. EXPORT ANYTHING Need a copy, a printout, or want to keep working in another app? Export any notebook — journal, project, board or note — as a PDF or plain text file, saved wherever you choose on your device. Perfect for printing, archiving, or editing elsewhere. PRIVACY BY DESIGN • 100% offline — works with no internet connection at all • On-device encryption protects your entire database at rest • No account, no sign-up, no email address required • No ads, no analytics, no trackers, no data collection • Your data never leaves your phone — ever BUILT TO LAST Shelf is designed so your data stays safe across updates — nothing is ever silently lost.
