Anvil Hero: Merge Swords

A forge drops blades onto your anvil's grid. Drag two of the same blade together and they become the next one up. Your hero always holds the best blade you have made, and fights the monsters by himself while you forge. HOW IT PLAYS Tap the anvil to forge faster. Drag a blade onto its twin to merge it, onto an empty cell to move it, or into the melt pot for a few coins. Every merge that makes a new best blade is swung at once as a forge strike, for eight times the damage, and every fifteen merges charge another one. Each zone is five waves, and the fifth is a boss on a 30-second clock. Run out of time and you choose: watch an advert for 15 more seconds, or let the hero farm coins and come back stronger. 30 BLADES, EACH ITS OWN The ladder starts with a stick and climbs through clubs, knives, bronze, iron, steel, gems, gold, crystal and fire to Last Light, tier 30. Every tier has its own shape and colour, and every new one you make goes into the codex and adds damage for good. Past tier 30 the merging carries on. A short advert may play when you leave the card after a region's last boss, every fifth zone: never during a fight, never in your first session and never before your fourth boss. Every other advert is one you choose to watch, for a bonus marked AD: the coins your hero earned while you were away a second time, double a boss's pay, 15 more seconds on a boss, Hot forge (every blade drops two tiers higher for three minutes), Auto-merge for five minutes, double today's gift, or a lapsed daily streak back.
