Full description
Forty-two card, board and puzzle games people play in Nepal, in one app, in Nepali or English. Play against the computer the moment the app opens, with no account needed. Or open a table, send its link to your group chat, and play with friends and family wherever they are. CARD GAMES • Call Break: bid your tricks, spades are trump. • Marriage: three pure runs to see the tiplu, then meld it all. Putali, the master card and the house rules families argue about. • Last Card: match the colour, the number or the symbol, and be first to empty your hand. Every colour is a shape too, for players who cannot tell red from green. • Gin Rummy: the rummy for two. Knock at ten, lay off onto the other hand, and watch for the undercut. • Poker: Texas Hold'em, two cards each and five on the board, with blinds, side pots and no limit betting. Against the computer or friends online, for chips that buy nothing. • Solitaire and TriPeaks: Klondike, Spider, FreeCell and three peaks, with undo, hints and a deal a day for all of Nepal. • Kitti, Dhumbal, Jutpatti, Gulam Chor, Teen Patti (Flash), In Between, 29, Dehla Pakad, 3-2-5, Rummy, Spades, Hearts and Blackjack. BOARD AND DICE GAMES • Carrom: the board most homes here have, by the International Carrom Federation's rules. Slide the striker, aim, pull back and let go, and pocket your men and the queen first. Against the computer, with friends online, or up to four people round one phone. • Chess: a computer at eight levels, beginner to expert, and a clock for games online. • Pool: eight-ball by the World Pool-Billiard Association's rules, with spin on the cue ball. Against the computer, with a friend online, or two people on one phone. • Snooker: fifteen, ten or six reds on a table sized for a phone. • Pasa: the Dashain and Tihar game of three long dice, thrown against the whole table. • Ludo, Baghchal, Sholo Guti, Snakes and Ladders, Langur Burja, Kauda, Backgammon, Draughts, Othello, Tic-tac-toe, Four in a Row, Dots and Boxes and Dominoes. PUZZLES • Block Puzzle: fit three pieces at a time on an eight by eight board and clear full lines. The same game every day for all of Nepal, and your best score kept. • Maths Duel: the same sums for two players, and whoever gets more right wins. Race the computer or a friend online for a minute, or two people at either end of one phone. • Sudoku: in English or Nepali numerals, with a new puzzle every day for all of Nepal, four levels, pencil notes, and hints that say why. • Ball Sort: sort coloured balls into tubes of one colour, five colours to twelve, each with a shape of its own. MADE FOR HOW PEOPLE HERE PLAY • Every game in Nepali and English. Switch language at any time. • Set the house rules before a table starts, because every family plays Marriage a little differently. • Computer players at easy, medium and hard. • A rules page for every game, with diagrams. • A Marriage Points Calculator for nights with real cards, with a live scoreboard the whole table can follow on their own phones. • A Dice Roller for a real Ludo board whose dice have gone missing. Tap or shake to roll. • Once opened, it plays offline against the computer. PLAYING WITH OTHER PEOPLE • Open a table and share the link. Friends join straight from it, in either language. • Slow tables for a family in three time zones: a move when you can, and a notification when it is your turn. • See who is online, join an open table, or add your family as friends by username and invite them. With the app closed, the invite waits with a seat kept. • Quick chat from a set of phrases, each read in the player's own language. COINS Coins are for playing. You get them for signing in and from a daily top-up, and you can stake them at tables or spend them on card designs and outfits. They have no money value and can never be cashed out. There is no real-money gambling here. No ads and no tracking. Your account stays anonymous until you choose to sign in, and you can delete it whenever you like.

What's new

Added more games, increasing the total from 28 to 42. You can now receive game and friend invitations even when you are not actively using the app.
