Full description
OutdoorSafe is an innovative service designed to enhance the safety of outdoor enthusiasts engaging in activities like mountaineering, sailing, hiking, mountain biking, running, and more. By integrating customizable and scheduled alerts, OutdoorSafe provides unparalleled peace of mind. Key Features: Scheduled Alerts: Before heading out, easily schedule alerts with your planned return time and route. If you don’t deactivate the alert by the set time, your trusted contacts will automatically be notified via SMS. Trusted Contacts: Save up to three trusted contacts in your profile. These can be updated at any time. Flexible Modifications: Change of plans or timing during your outing? No problem! You can update your alerts in real-time, as long as you have an Internet connection. Offline Management: Even if you lose signal or your phone is out of service, alerts are saved on a server and will be sent at the scheduled time. Remote Deactivation: You can deactivate your alert from any Internet-connected device by logging in to outdoorsafe.fr with your OutdoorSafe or Google credentials. Reminder Notifications: The app sends you sound notifications before the alert is triggered, reminding you to deactivate it on time. Position Tracking: Enable position tracking to include your last known location in your alert. Location Sharing: Share your real-time location with your loved ones. Direct Alert Mode: In emergencies where handling the phone is impossible, say "alert alert alert" to send an alert instantly. Why Choose OutdoorSafe? OutdoorSafe was developed with a clear goal: to provide the best tools for practicing your favorite activities safely. Whether you’re in the mountains, at sea, or on a trail, OutdoorSafe allows you to focus on the experience, knowing that your loved ones will be alerted in case of an emergency. With OutdoorSafe, you have the freedom to explore confidently, supported by a service that looks out for you.

What's new

Instead of just providing the last position, the alert now includes a link that allows to view the last 100 positions! Thus, in case of a search, if the date/time of the last position is old, the rescuers will be able to estimate a trajectory using the previous positions. Also, if the accuracy of the last position is poor, the rescuers will be able to check if the previous points are more accurate.
