Bourdon Mobile

Bourdon Mobile is an open-source app for testing concentration and attention using the Bourdon Attention Cancellation Test. The app is simple and lightweight and is designed for devices running Android. It can be used on both smartphones and tablets, although it is primarily designed for use on tablets. The Bourdon test is based on identifying three predefined images within a set of other images. The respondent goes through a series of generated sets and marks images according to the test instructions. The test consists of 30 sets, each containing 85 images. Each set contains both target and non-target images. Every selected image is recorded and cannot be changed afterward. Both correct and incorrect selections are therefore included in the final evaluation. The respondent has 50 seconds to complete each image set. After the time limit expires, the next set is displayed automatically. After completing the final, 30th set, the app evaluates the results. The results can be displayed as graphs showing accuracy, errors, and speed, or all three measures together.
