SHE Academy

The SHE Academy has been developed as a single platform for all our online workshops and resources. Join now to access flexible online workshops, accessible resources and practical content. SHE supports women across rural Ireland to become county councillors and to be part of their campaign teams. The programme is run by Longford Women’s Link and funded by the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage. SHE Academy is where you can access resources developed to get you (and your team!) election ready. First, join SHE Academy by adding your name, email and enter a password. Then register for our live workshops and explore resources. As a member of SHE Academy you will be the first to hear about new course material. Election workshops are live now! Get ready to start your 2029 local election preparation. Join us for monthly workshops at a time that suit you. Book now to reserve your spot and get a free hardcopy of A Guide to Running in the 2029 Local Elections. And much much more. Our team can't wait to meet you. SHE is a feminist, community led, rural initiative to support women into political life. We believe in an inclusive Ireland where women’s human rights and equality are respected and protected, and women are not discriminated against. We believe in showing dignity and respect to everyone irrespective of race, ethnicity, gender, class, age, religious beliefs, political beliefs, ability, and sexual orientation. We believe in working positively and respectfully together to change inequality in political participation. We are committed to working from a feminist perspective to advocate these values. Anyone wishing to engage with our training is required to hold these same values. Any political party or organisation you are associated with or are a member of must also align with our statement of values in order for you to join in our workshops.
