Home8 turns any Android tablet, phone or TV into a smart home display. Design your screen on home8.eu — lights, climate, sensors, cameras, calendars, weather, clocks and more, laid out exactly the way you want — and this app shows it full-screen on your device, live. Changes you make in the designer appear on the device within seconds. How it works 1. Create a free account at home8.eu and design a screen. 2. Open Home8 on your device: it shows a short link code field. 3. In the Home8 dashboard choose "Add a screen" and type the code shown there in the app. That's it — the device is linked to your account and displays your screen. Nothing to type on the device afterwards. Features - Live values from Home Assistant: lights, switches, climate, sensors, media, cameras - Calendars from Google, iCloud, Outlook, Nextcloud or Home Assistant, in agenda, day, week, month or grid views - Weather, clocks, images, gauges and graphs - Kiosk settings managed from the dashboard: display only, auto-return, keep-alive, start at boot, lock the app - Keeps the display on while it is showing your screen - One design, many screens: the same Home8 account also drives Samsung TVs, ESP32 touch displays and any web browser A Home8 account is required (free plan available). Home Assistant is optional but needed for live smart-home values.
