FuelMatch

How do E10, B10 or HVO affect your engine? Don’t choose fuel based only on price or name. See how well it suits your engine. With FuelMatch you can: • assess the compatibility of E5, E10, B7, B10, HVO and XTL with your vehicle; • compare the technical properties of different fuels; • get a practical compatibility recommendation before refuelling; • better understand why one fuel may suit your engine better than another; • check the compatibility of alternative fuels before using them. Why does fuel choice matter? The label on the fuel pump does not always tell the whole story. Ethanol or biodiesel content, fuel properties and your vehicle’s technical requirements can affect how the engine operates with a particular fuel. FuelMatch compares vehicle data, fuel properties, recognised automotive standards and technical requirements, and provides a practical compatibility recommendation based on this information. Useful when travelling abroad E5, E10, B7, B10, HVO and XTL labels can raise questions at the fuel station, especially when travelling. FuelMatch helps you assess which fuel is suitable for your vehicle before you refuel. Easy to use Select your vehicle and fuel, then view the FuelMatch recommendation. FuelMatch is a tool designed to help you make a more informed fuel choice. Its recommendation does not replace the vehicle manufacturer’s official fuel requirements or the owner’s manual.
