Mit PhonePOS bieten Sie Ihren Kunden die Möglichkeit ganz einfach per Karte, Smartphone oder Smartwatch zu bezahlen und schaffen so Kundenpräferenzen - ohne zusätzliche Hardwareinvestitionen. Um Kartenzahlungen annehmen zu können, ist neben der PhonePOS App auch die kostenfreie App2Pay notwendig, um einen Betrag einzugeben, der dann automatisch an die PhonePOS-App weitergeleitet und verarbeitet wird. Alternativ kann eine Kassenapplikation verwendet werden, die eine entsprechende API integriert hat und so eine Verbindung mit der Phone-POS App aufbauen kann. 2. Aus Sicherheitsgründen muss für die PhonePOS App alle 28 Tage ein Update erfolgen. Auf das Update werden Sie einige Tage vor Ablauf der 28 Tage per Benachrichtigung mehrmals hingewiesen. Wird das Update nicht durchgeführt, so können nach Ablauf der 28 Tage keine Kartenzahlungen mehr verarbeitet werden. Wird das Update durchgeführt steht die PhonePOS-App und die Kartenakzeptanz wie gewohnt zur Verfügung. Für eine durchgängige Verfügbarkeit wird empfohlen in den Einstellungen die automatische App-Aktualisierung zuzulassen. 3. Die PhonePOS App benötigt die Berechtigung zum automatischen Start beim Einschalten des Smartphones. Bei den meisten Smartphone-Modellen ist die Berechtigung „automatischer Start“ bereits als Standard für die PhonePOS App vorgegeben. Ist der automatische Start nicht aktiviert, kann es zu Problemen bei der Kartenakzeptanz kommen. 4. Die PhonePOS App ist immer aktiv, da die App aus Sicherheitsgründen regelmäßig in kurzen Abständen überprüft, ob etwas an der App oder dem Smartphone verändert wurden, was ein Risiko darstellen könnte. Der Stromverbrauch kann hierdurch unter Umständen leicht steigen. 5. Für gerootete Geräte wird die App aus Sicherheitsgründen nicht angeboten.
