Lisvaro: price alerts

Lisvaro is a price tracker: it watches the price of the products you care about, in any shop, and alerts you when it reaches the one you set. You paste a product address and that is it. No account to create, no sign-up, no email address. WHAT IT DOES • It tracks the price. You add a product by pasting its address, and the app looks at it again every so often, on its own and in the background. • It alerts you when it matters. You can ask for an alert on a target price, on a discount percentage, on something out of stock coming back, or on the shop announcing a multi-buy promotion. That way you know whether a deal is a real price drop or the usual price with a new label. • It measures the discount properly. The percentage is worked out against the highest price of the last thirty days that the app itself has seen, not against the struck-through price the shop publishes, which may be inflated. • It keeps the price history. From the day you add the product, every reading is drawn on a chart: pick the range, move along it, and read the figures one by one. • You choose the variant. If the page has sizes, colours or flavours at different prices, you decide which one is tracked. • Order it your way. Categories you create yourself, a note of your own on each item, and the option to pin whatever you do not want to lose sight of. • Wishlist. The things you like but are not watching, kept aside with the price of the day you added them. • Six languages and eleven currencies. YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR PHONE • No account, no sign-up, no email address. • The products, their history, your alerts and your notes live on the phone. They are not uploaded to any server of ours. • No advertising, no trackers, no selling of data. • You can save a copy of everything to a file of your own, wherever you choose, and restore it whenever you want. • The app keeps a technical log of what it does, which you can read in full from the settings. It is not sent anywhere on its own. HOW IT TREATS SHOPS At least one hour always passes between two checks of the same product. The app makes no bursts of requests, only looks up the products you added yourself, and respects each site's robots.txt file. FREE, WITH AN OPTIONAL ONE-OFF PURCHASE It downloads free and works without paying anything: it alerts, it notifies, it keeps the history and it reads the same shops. The free version has size limits — how many products are tracked at once, how often they are checked, how many alerts each one takes and how many days of history are drawn — and the app shows them to you up front. Inside there is a one-off purchase that lifts those limits. There is no subscription and no recurring charge, and it adds no shops and changes nothing about how a price is read: the only thing that changes is how much you can cover. ONE THING WORTH KNOWING BEFORE YOU INSTALL IT Not every page publishes its price in a readable way. Most do, but some shops hide it on purpose. When one will not be read, Lisvaro says so in plain words instead of going quiet or making a number up.
