GIC ITC

GIC ITC is the app of the Department of Information and Communication Engineering (GIC) at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia. Students and teachers use it to follow their classes, take attendance, read course materials and keep up with the department. FOR STUDENTS • Today's classes at a glance, with the time and the room • Check in to class in seconds: scan the QR code on your teacher's screen, or type the short code under it • Your courses with chapter slides, labs and quizzes; download chapter PDFs to read them without internet • Your attendance in each course, with a warning before you fall below the minimum • Department events: register, show your ticket at the entrance (it works offline) and add events to your calendar • Announcements and notifications, and you choose which ones you receive • Group timetables, resources and search FOR TEACHERS • Start attendance for a class and show a rotating QR code with a short code • Follow the live list as students check in, mark a student by hand with a reason, extend or close check-in • Your teaching timetable FAIR AND PRIVATE ATTENDANCE • Check-in works on one registered phone per student • Some classes check that you are in the room: your location is read once, when you check in, and only your distance from the classroom is kept. The app never follows your location in the background. • Optional unlock with your fingerprint or face IN ENGLISH AND KHMER, with light and dark appearance.
