Full description
HA Widgets puts your Home Assistant entities on your Android home screen. Control lights, switches, scenes and more with a single tap, and read live sensor values at a glance — without opening an app. The app talks directly to your own Home Assistant. There is no cloud service in between: your data travels only between your phone and your server. YOUR TOKEN STAYS ON YOUR PHONE HA Widgets signs in with a long-lived access token that you create yourself in Home Assistant. The token is stored in Android's encrypted Keystore, is only ever sent to the address you entered, never touches web storage, and is excluded from cloud backups. The app has no analytics and no tracking. A diagnostic report is sent only if you choose to send one, and it never includes your address or token. The source code is open on GitHub, so you can see exactly what the app does. TWO WIDGETS • Combined widget — build rows of entities: a main entity plus up to five small fields per row. Toggle, dim, set a temperature or position, trigger scenes and scripts, edit helpers, or open another app. Highlight a row when a condition you choose is met. • Dashboard shortcut — open any Home Assistant dashboard in a built-in view. Supports lights, switches, scenes, scripts, automations, sensors, binary sensors, climate, covers, locks, device trackers, numbers and input helpers. KEY FEATURES • Works offline — widgets show the last known state, marked when stale • Battery-friendly — you choose how often widgets refresh, from 15 minutes to 6 hours, or only on tap • Saved setups — keep several configurations and switch between them • Export and import your setups as a file • Confirm-on-tap to avoid accidental actions • Six colour themes, plus light, dark or system mode • English, Danish and Swedish TRY IT WITHOUT HOME ASSISTANT Type "demo" as the address to explore the app with sample devices — no server or token needed. GETTING STARTED 1. Open the app and enter your Home Assistant address 2. Paste a long-lived access token (the app shows you how to create one) 3. Add a widget from your launcher and pick your entities REQUIREMENTS • Android 8.0 or newer • A reachable Home Assistant instance — or use demo mode HA Widgets is an independent project and is not affiliated with the Home Assistant project or Nabu Casa.

What's new

• Problem reports are more reliable: your note is kept if sending fails, and a crash report that could not be sent is offered again next time. • A crash you choose not to send is no longer included in later reports. • Your Home Assistant address is now removed from reports. • Demo mode no longer marks unchanged values as out of date.
