There are many reasons why drawing on a map is a good tool. It allows you to add arrows and lines to the map to indicate specific places of interest to you. This can help you draw the excavation route for a building and the like. You can use the drawing tool to delimit / mark project areas or to correct a sketch. The tool can also be used to add lines between locations of components, like pumping stations. The tool can be used to draw on a pdf document, but you can also use snapshots from your Geodata map, where all layers of information are present. If you want to define a specific area as within a boundary, you can use this tool as a polygon marker. You can drag in the selected area to create the desired shape and / or boundary. The tool will provide a complete mapping software package with various options where you can copy and paste or upload a map or sketch. The app provides you with the GPS coordinates for the addresses using tools from Geodatastyrelsens. The app will show your exact location on the map, so it is easy to get started using the "WorksPen".
