Full description

Find your spot in the sun. Sol på! shows you where the sun falls — and where the shadows lie — anywhere in Denmark. Pick a spot on the map and drag the timeline to see how the sun moves across the day and how the buildings around you cast shade. Instantly see whether that exact spot is in sun or shade at the chosen time. ☀️ HOW IT WORKS • Search or tap a place on the map • Drag the timeline to pick a time of day • See the sun's position and the buildings' shadows • Get the answer at a glance: sun or shade? 📍 PERFECT FOR • Finding a sunny spot for lunch or coffee • Checking whether your balcony or garden gets evening sun • Judging the light before booking a table outside • Planning your day around the sun 🗺️ ACCURATE DATA Sol på! uses official Danish map and elevation data (GeoDanmark buildings and the Danish Elevation Model via Datafordeleren) to compute precise building shadows. It covers all of Denmark. No ads. No account. Just sun and shade.
