ChargeGuard: EV Charge Alarm

Many electric cars don't stop at 80% on their own – or it's a hassle to set up. ChargeGuard keeps an eye on it for you: tell the app what percentage your car is at, and it works out how long it needs to charge and sounds an alarm when it reaches your target. HOW IT WORKS • Pick your car and enter the percentage it shows • Instantly see how many kWh to charge, how long it will take and when the car will be done • Tap "Start charging + alarm" – and put your phone down • The alarm rings when the car reaches the target, even with the screen off, the phone on silent, or the app closed MULTIPLE CARS Add every car in the household with its own name and battery size, and switch between them with one tap. YOUR OWN CHARGER Choose the charging power (e.g. 3.7, 7.4, 11 or 22 kW) and the percentage to stop at – 80% is the default, but you can pick exactly what you want. GETS MORE ACCURATE OVER TIME After a charge, enter the kWh shown in your charger's app. ChargeGuard then learns how much energy your car actually uses per percent – including charging losses – and calculates the time from your own numbers instead of an estimate. ADJUST ALONG THE WAY If the car shows a different percentage than expected, enter the real number and the alarm moves automatically. PRIVACY • No account, no ads, no tracking • The app has no internet access – all information stays on your phone ChargeGuard does not control the charger or the car. The time is a calculation based on the numbers you give the app, so always stop charging yourself when the alarm rings.
