Choose the ghost’s speed, set a head start by time or distance, and try to stay ahead. Slow down and the ghost may catch up. Speed up and you can escape again. Even when your route crosses itself, progress is based on the trail rather than simple proximity. An optional battery-saving mode reduces background GPS activity, making it more suitable for longer runs, walks, or hikes. PRIVACY BY DESIGN No account is required. GhostRunner has no advertising or analytics. Your active GPS route is processed locally on your device and is not uploaded or saved as running history. Precise location permission is required for route tracking. Background tracking is only active during a chase started by the user.
