Spendings is a fast, private way to record what you spend — and the only copy of your data that leaves your phone goes into a Google Sheet you own. No account to create. No servers of ours in the middle. No ads. 💡 WHY BOTHER TRACKING Financial freedom starts with one number: what you actually spend, and where it goes. Everything worth planning is built on it — an emergency fund sized to what a month really costs you, an honest answer to "how long could I last if I lost my income", and a retirement plan based on your real number instead of a guess. Most people never have that number, because tracking is tedious enough to quit by the second week. Spendings is built to be quick enough that you keep it up: two seconds to log, then a clear picture of where the money went and how this month compares with your usual. It won't budget, invest, or plan for you. It gives you the number all of that starts from. 📝 QUICK TO RECORD Adding a spending takes seconds: amount, category, date, an optional note. Saving is instant — the entry appears the moment you tap, with no spinner to wait on. Categories start from a sensible default list (Groceries, Eating out, Transport, Rent, Utilities, Health, and more), and any category you type once becomes permanently pickable. Buy the same thing often? Long-press it in the list to log it again today. 🏠 ON YOUR HOME SCREEN Put the number where you will actually see it. A compact widget shows what you have spent this month, with a + that opens Add; a larger one lists your last three spendings underneath it. Long-press the app icon to jump straight to Add without opening the app first. With App Lock on, amounts are kept off the widget. 📊 SEE WHERE IT GOES Tap the chart icon for a picture of your spending. A bar chart by day, week or month, tappable to pick any of them; a donut of that period split by category, with the full list and each category's share underneath — tap a slice or a row to see the spendings behind it; and a line telling you how far above or below your usual you are. A week or month still running is compared against the same days of earlier ones, so a period in progress never reads as a collapse. No setup, no budgets to configure — it reads the spendings you already recorded. 📗 YOUR OWN GOOGLE SHEET Sign in with Google and Spendings keeps a spreadsheet in your Drive in step with the app — two-way. Edit a row on your laptop and the change comes back to your phone; add a spending on your phone and it lands in the sheet. The sheet is yours: chart it, pivot it, share it, or just keep it as a backup you can actually read. Sync is optional — the app is fully usable without ever signing in. 🔒 PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Your spendings live in a database on your device. Turn on App Lock and the app is sealed behind your phone's fingerprint, PIN, or pattern, with the contents hidden from the recent-apps screen. Nothing is uploaded anywhere except the Google Sheet you connected yourself. 💱 MULTI-CURRENCY Record in EUR, USD, GBP, EGP, SAR, AED, CHF, JPY and more — and any currency that turns up in an import or an edit in the sheet stays pickable afterwards. 📦 YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS Export everything to a file at any time, and import it back — for moving to a new phone, or just to keep a copy somewhere of your choosing. 🌙 EASY ON THE EYES A calm dark interface built for one-handed use, so logging a coffee on the way out of the café is a two-second job.
