VoxType: Voice Typing Keyboard

Speak, and the words appear. VoxType is a voice typing keyboard that turns speech to text inside any app you already use: WhatsApp, Gmail, Instagram, notes, search bars. Type when you want; dictate when talking is faster. Built for Indian languages Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Odia and Urdu route to an AI speech engine trained for Indic speech, so the text arrives in the right script, with correct spelling and sensible punctuation. Speak Malayalam, get Malayalam you can send without repairing every second word. English and 40+ other languages run on a global engine. Auto language detection follows you when you switch mid-sentence, a manual lock holds one language for accuracy, and translate mode turns anything you say into English text. Two ways to dictate • Voice keyboard: a full keyboard with a large mic key. Type normally, speak whenever you prefer. • Floating mic: keep the keyboard you already have and add a floating mic button that types into the field you select. Also included: suggestions and autocorrect, emoji, GIFs, stickers, clipboard history with pinning, themes, number row, one-handed mode, resizable height, and a custom vocabulary for names, places and jargon. Romanised Indic typing is included too: type Malayalam, Hindi or Tamil in Latin letters and the native script comes out, which is how most people actually type them. Offline dictation works after a voice model download, so a weak connection is not a blocker. VoxType also registers as a system speech service, so apps that use Android's standard voice input can transcribe through it. AI Polish (paid) Polish fixes grammar, punctuation and filler words without changing what you meant. It can rewrite a spoken ramble into a professional email, a chat reply, clean notes or an AI prompt. Rephrase, formalise, shorten, expand or translate in one tap. Two ways to use it at no cost • VoxType Cloud: 3 minutes of dictation every day, plus 5 more minutes for each short rewarded ad. • Your own key: paste a personal API key and dictate on your own provider quota. Audio then goes straight from your phone to your provider and never touches our servers. Privacy Ordinary typing never leaves your device. Audio is sent only while you dictate, over HTTPS, and is never stored. History stays on your phone and can be switched off. Anonymous crash reports and content-free analytics are on by default and can be disabled in Settings. The optional floating mic uses an Android AccessibilityService to place dictated text into the field you choose; screen contents are not collected, stored or shared, and the service can be disabled at any time.
