Full description
When did I last replace the bike chain? Who borrowed my drill? Where did I put the passport? Is the aircon still under warranty? How much have I spent fixing this laptop? You knew all of it once. The receipt exists, the photo is somewhere, you remember telling someone. The problem was never that the information didn't exist — it's that you can't find it the moment it matters. Kepta is a private record of the things you own and what happens to them. WRITE ONE SENTENCE "Changed the chain on the bike yesterday, paid 850 at CycleHouse." Kepta works out that it was a part replacement, that it happened yesterday, that it cost 850, that it was your bike, and that CycleHouse did it. It shows you why it decided each of those, and saves nothing until you say so. No forms. No choosing a category before you've written anything. ASK LATER, GET AN ANSWER Some questions deserve a real answer instead of a list of search results. Ask "who has my bike" and Kepta tells you who, how long they've had it, and shows you the memory that proves it. Ask where something is and it tells you the shelf — and which memory put it there. EVERYTHING ABOUT ONE THING, IN ONE PLACE Every repair, purchase, loan and move, on a single timeline. Including the times it was only mentioned in passing. Record make, model, serial number, what you paid, when the warranty ends, and any detail you want to keep — a paint code, a filter size, a gate code. Attach photos: the receipt, the serial plate, the damage. They're encrypted before they're saved and only decrypted while you're looking at them. REMINDERS THAT COME FROM YOUR RECORDS Kepta already knows the warranty ends in April and that something's been lent out for three weeks, so it offers to remind you. There's no blank reminder form to fill in — reminders come from what you've written, or they don't exist. YOUR RECORDS STAY YOURS Kepta has no account, no server, no analytics, and no advertising. It also has no internet permission at all. That isn't a promise about how we behave — the app simply cannot open a network connection, and your phone enforces it. Turn on airplane mode and use it exactly as before. Everything is encrypted with a key only your PIN unlocks. Your PIN is never stored. Unlock with your fingerprint if you prefer; it opens the same key. You can export everything at any time as a plain text file that opens on any computer, without Kepta and without your PIN. Your records are never locked inside this app. WORTH KNOWING BEFORE YOU START Kepta starts completely empty. There's nothing to import and no sample data — it holds only what you write. Because nothing is ever sent anywhere, nothing is backed up anywhere either. If you lose your phone, wipe it, or forget your PIN, your records are gone and nobody can recover them, including us. That's the cost of the guarantee above. Export a copy now and then and keep it somewhere safe. WHAT IT ISN'T YET Search matches the words you wrote rather than what you meant. Photos only for now — no PDFs. Android only. Kepta is for the things you'll want to remember in a year, not for today's shopping list.

What's new

• Photo previews are much lighter: each photo now gets a small encrypted thumbnail, so your things and memories open with far less memory. Full-screen photos open at your screen's size. • Portrait photos stay upright in their previews. • Fixed: "Spent on this" and purchase prices could show pesos as dollars. Totals now use the currency you recorded them in. • A leaner app under the hood. As always, everything stays encrypted on your phone.
