soulMates

soulMates reveals who you are through the music you love. Swipe through a curated catalog of tracks across every genre. From indie and electronic to classical, hip-hop, and everything in between. Every like and dislike shapes your unique music genome: a profile built on 12 musical axes including energy, valence, danceability, acousticness, and complexity. But soulMates goes deeper than playlists. soulMates analyzes your music preferences across 12 musical axes to build a unique music fingerprint. As you swipe through tracks, the app learns what moves you and maps it to 30 base personality traits that compose the Big Five (openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, neuroticism) and the 16 personalities from MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator), using research-backed connections between audio features and psychology. See how your musical choices reveal your personality in ways you might not expect. Once your music DNA takes shape, soulMates matches you with people whose musical aura aligns with yours. These aren't surface-level matches based on shared artists or genres, they're built on the deeper patterns behind why you love the music you love. Two people who've never heard the same song can still be musical soulmates. Connect with your matches and experience music together in real time. Share tracks, react with emoji, and start synchronized listening sessions where you hear the same music at the same moment. Discover new songs through the people who truly get your taste.
