Tembo - money

Tembo reads the M-PESA, Fuliza and bank SMS on your phone and shows you what you really earn, spend and save. It is a budget tracker built around your money texts: without them it has nothing to show. What you see • Home: money in, money spent and what was left over, for the last 12 months, a month or a year. • Where the money went: your spending in groups, with the payees behind each one. • Months: money in and out, month by month, on a chart. • Payments: every payment, with search, and the text it came from. • Sort: the biggest payees Tembo couldn't place, so you can put them in a group once. • Fuliza and loans: what the fees cost you. • Money you move between your own accounts is not counted as income or spending. Everything stays on your phone Tembo has no server and no account. Your texts are read and added up on the phone. No ads, no analytics, nothing sold. Optional extras • AI guesser (off until you add your own key): groups payees for you. Only when you tap Send, it sends the payee names, amounts, dates and nearby text snippets shown on screen to the AI company you picked (Anthropic, OpenAI or Google) or to your own computer at home. • Encrypted backup: a file locked with your password, saved where you choose (for example Google Drive), so a new phone can get everything back. • App lock: asks for your fingerprint, face or phone PIN before showing your money.
