chainDRiVE: Audio Converter

chainDRiVE is an audio effects processor and transcoder with a real, visible signal chain. Drop in a pile of audio files, set a loudness target, add radio-style effects if you want them, pick the codec you actually need, and export everything as one ZIP. All processing happens on your phone or tablet, so your audio never leaves the device. Most converters are one slider and a mystery pipeline. chainDRiVE treats conversion as the last stage of a chain you can see and control. THE CHAIN • Decode, trim and resample common formats: MP3, M4A/AAC/MP4, FLAC, WAV, Opus/Ogg, WebM, AMR, AIFF, CAF and more • LUFS normalize: K-weighted integrated loudness to a target you set (about -24 to -6 LUFS) with peak safety, not a blunt "normalize to 0 dB" • Reorderable effects: compressor, signal-strength makeup, an AM/FM radio simulator (hum, multipath, atmospherics, pilot tone) and an ear-protect shelf. Drag the order, and it is remembered • Brick-wall limiter closes the chain, then the encoder you chose CODEC DEPTH, NOT "HIGH / MEDIUM / LOW" • AAC-LC, HE-AAC v1 (SBR) and HE-AAC v2 (SBR+PS) • MP3 (LAME), FLAC, Opus, Ogg Vorbis, WebM • AIFF, AU, AMR and specialty WAV variants • Real codec settings instead of vague quality names BATCH THAT WORKS • Queue as many files as you like • One job runs the whole queue and packs everything into a single (cDRV batch).zip • Large batches keep running with a progress notification, so you can switch apps while it converts • A job log shows exactly what happened to each file CHAiNAMP PREVIEW Listen to the result before you save it, with a built-in preview player.
