Full description

Ommesh is a companion for MeshCore LoRa radios. Connect a compatible radio over Bluetooth LE or Wi-Fi/TCP to exchange messages, explore nearby nodes and manage your radio from your phone. A compatible radio running MeshCore companion firmware is required for real mesh communication. No radio yet? Choose Demo on the connection screen to explore with simulated contacts and messages. MESSAGES • Direct conversations, channels and rooms. • Delivery feedback, retries and message route details. • Local conversation history stored separately for each radio. EXPLORE THE MESH • See nodes that share their position on a map. • Inspect routes, signal quality and node telemetry. • Ping repeaters and explore terrain profiles along radio paths. • Reuse previously viewed map and elevation tiles from the local cache. MANAGE YOUR RADIO • Change radio settings and contact preferences. • Administer compatible repeaters, rooms and sensors when you have their credentials. • Inspect radio traffic and diagnostic logs. MADE FOR YOUR PHONE • Light and dark themes with adjustable text size. • Optional local notifications for messages and discovered nodes. • No Ommesh account, advertising or analytics SDK. Mesh messaging uses your connected radio; it does not need an internet connection. Loading new map or elevation areas does require internet access. Wi-Fi connections require compatible companion firmware with TCP support. Android USB connections are not supported. Ommesh is the mobile version of the Meshnet project. The app interface is currently in English. Radio range and delivery depend on your hardware, configuration and local mesh.
