Full description
Soaply is the notebook a soapmaker keeps beside the scale. Work out the lye for a recipe, log the batch the day you pour it, and Soaply follows every bar on the rack until it is ready to use. Know when your soap is ready Every batch you pour goes on the rack in its own colour. Soaply tells you when to cut it, reminds you to weigh one bar each week, and draws the curve as the water leaves. When three weekly weigh-ins stay within 1 g, the weight has settled and Soaply proposes it as ready. You decide. Weigh it, don't guess. Your soapmaking journal Every pour is kept: the day you poured and cut it, every weigh-in, and your note on how it came out and what to change next time. Archived a batch by mistake? Put it back on the rack with one tap. A lye calculator you can check Put in your oils and their amounts. Soaply gives you the sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide, the water and the batch weight, updating as you type. Every saponification value was taken from two independent published sources and cross-checked; the sources are printed on the batch sheet next to the figures they produced. - NaOH for bar soap and KOH for soft and liquid soap, with KOH purity - Superfat and lye concentration you control, with a warning outside the usual range - Grams, ounces or percentages, and scaling to any batch size - A batch sheet with the lye figure large and the safety notes beside it Classic recipes, step by step Start from formulas soapmakers keep coming back to: Castile, Marseille, Bastile, a salt bar, a tallow bar and more. Each comes with its story, numbered steps, traditional additives, variations, common mistakes and what to expect out of the mould and after the cure. Open one and make it your own recipe. 39 oils, each with its sheet Every oil has a painted plate and a sheet: how it smells, the colour it gives the bar, how the bar feels, why soapers want it and what it pairs well with. Five oils link straight to the classic recipe built on them. Built to be honest No adverts. No account. No cloud. Your recipes and batches stay on your own phone. Exporting your recipes is free forever, whether or not you ever pay. Free trial Soaply opens with everything unlocked for 21 days. No card is asked for and the trial does not turn into a paid plan by itself. The price is shown in full, in your currency, before you commit. If you do not subscribe, nothing is deleted: your recipes and batches stay readable and exportable. Safety Sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide are caustic and can cause serious burns and permanent eye injury. Soaply does the arithmetic and cites its sources, but it cannot know what is in the oils in front of you. Wear eye protection and gloves, work with the air moving, and check the figures before you pour. Made by Arkadia Labs.

What's new

A new Rack for every batch you pour. Soaply counts the curing days, reminds you to weigh one bar, and tells you when the weight has settled, so you know when your soap is ready. Your recipes, ingredients and the lye calculator are all still here.
