Full description
The only water app that asks for less. Every other tracker pushes the number up. Enough is built on the opposite idea: there is a point where you have had enough, and an app that never says so is not on your side. A NUMBER YOU CAN CHECK Your daily target is not invented. It comes from a published standard — EFSA (2010), the US Institute of Medicine (2004/5), or ICMR-NIN (2020) if you are in India — and the app names which one it used and shows the arithmetic. Total water, less the roughly 25% that food already gives you, leaves the amount you actually have to pour. If you think the number is wrong, set your own. The standard's suggestion stays on screen next to yours, so you can see where you differ and why. Your target is yours. A CEILING, NOT JUST A FLOOR Past a point, more water is not better water — it dilutes the sodium in your blood, and your kidneys spend the evening putting it back. There is no prize above the line. Enough is the only tracker in the category that draws that line, tells you where it came from, and stops asking. Nothing is blocked and nothing is scolded. Your log keeps working exactly as it did, and today still counts. You are told, not stopped. ONE TAP Four vessels on the home screen, each re-assignable to whatever you actually drink — a 500 ml bottle, a 200 ml coffee, a 240 ml tea. A glass is one tap and the time is now. Anything unusual goes in through a longer form that does not get in the way of the common case. There is no advertisement anywhere in the logging path. That is a design rule, not an oversight. HONEST HISTORY A drink logged two hours after you drank it is counted, and marked as logged late. We do not quietly backdate it and we do not pretend to know when you drank it. The week view shows which days were reconstructed rather than recorded, because a record that overstates its own accuracy is not much of a record. REMINDERS THAT ADMIT WHEN THEY FAIL Eight reminders a day, between the wake and sleep hours you set, re-booked automatically after your phone restarts. If Android or your manufacturer's battery settings are suppressing them, the home screen says so and offers to take you to the setting — instead of going quiet and letting you think you simply were not thirsty. NOTHING LEAVES YOUR PHONE No account. No email address. No sign-in of any kind. Your hydration record is stored on your device and is never uploaded, never sold, and never shared with anyone. There is no server to breach because there is no server. HEALTH CONNECT, IF YOU WANT IT Connect Health Connect and Enough will read a handful of signals — a long run, a hard day, a fever, your weight, short sleep — and say plainly how each one changed today's number and by how much. It can write what you drank back to Health Connect so your other apps can see it. All of it is read and processed on your device. None of it is transmitted anywhere, and none of it can reach an advertisement: the ad code cannot see a hydration or health value at all. Connecting is optional. The app works without it. THE ADAPTIVE LAYER The paid tier turns on the part of the app that moves with your day: readings from Health Connect, and an optional local weather forecast so a 34°C afternoon raises the number before you notice. The forecast uses your approximate location, rounded to about 11 km before it is sent — a neighbourhood, not an address. It is never stored and never attached to anything you drank. Weather data by Open-Meteo.com. NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE Enough is not a medical device and nothing in it is medical advice. The standards it cites are population guidelines, not prescriptions. If you have a kidney, heart or liver condition, or you are pregnant, your clinician's number is the one to follow — not this app's.
