WAIDPASS

WAIDPASS is the smart study app for the German hunting license exam. WAIDPASS is a private, independent study app. It is not issued, operated, or endorsed by any government authority and does not represent any state body. A SYSTEM FOR YOUR HUNTING EXAM Instead of rote memorization, WAIDPASS brings every question back at growing intervals (spaced repetition, SM-2 method): what you know returns less often, what you get wrong returns sooner. Adaptive mode raises the difficulty as you improve. WHAT YOU GET ✓ Over 9,000 exam questions from the catalogs of seven German states (official or provided by the respective state hunting association) plus firearms proficiency, usable in all 16 states ✓ 9 subject areas: wildlife biology, hunting operations, weapons & ammunition, wildlife diseases, nature conservation, hunting law, tradition, game meat hygiene, and habitat management. This is the WAIDPASS study structure, not the exam structure of any state: Baden-Württemberg examines 5 subjects, Bavaria 6. ✓ Firearms proficiency (WBK): over 400 questions from the nationwide BVA catalog in 4 subject areas ✓ AI tutor: explains answers and responds to follow-up questions. These explanations are generated automatically by a language model as you use it; they do not come from the catalogs listed below. They can be wrong and replace neither legal nor official advice. ✓ Exam simulation: 100 questions, 90 minutes, 75 percent to pass. WAIDPASS applies these values to all 16 states alike; the regulations of your own state are binding and may differ. ✓ Gamification: collect Waidpunkte, keep your streak, climb the ranks ✓ Community: connect with other hunting license candidates ✓ Offline mode: study without an internet connection (Premium) START FOR FREE The free plan offers 10 questions a day. For unlimited questions, choose Pro Monthly, Pro Yearly, or Ultimate lifetime. WHERE THE QUESTIONS COME FROM WAIDPASS is a private study resource, not an official exam provider. The app is not issued, operated, or endorsed by any government authority or state hunting association and does not represent any state body. The exam questions come from the publicly available catalogs of the responsible bodies, or were provided with their express permission: Baden-Württemberg: https://www.landesjagdverband.de/ausbildung-fortbildung/jaegerpruefung-pruefungsstelle/pruefungsfragen (Baden-Württemberg State Hunting Association, commissioned by the state as examination body) Bavaria: https://www.lmg.bayern.de/aufgaben_leistungen/jaegerpruefung/index.html (Bavarian State Office for Weights and Measures, central hunting exam authority) Hamburg: https://www.hamburg.de/politik-und-verwaltung/behoerden/bukea/themen/agrarwirtschaft/jagd/jaegerpruefung-und-jagdschein-179510 (Authority for Environment, Climate, Energy and Agriculture, BUKEA) Lower Saxony: https://www.ml.niedersachsen.de/startseite/themen/wald_holz_jagd/jagd_in_niedersachsen/jaegerpruefung-in-niedersachsen-5226.html (Lower Saxony Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection) Rhineland-Palatinate: https://ljv-rlp.de/ausbildung-und-beratung/pruefungsfragen/ (Rhineland-Palatinate State Hunting Association, an outdated 2015 practice edition, no current catalog from the ministry) Saarland: https://www.saarjaeger.de/aus-und-weiterbildung/jagerausbildung/ (Saarland Hunters' Association, hosting the actual question pool) Thuringia: https://umwelt.thueringen.de/jagd (Thuringian Ministry of the Environment) Firearms proficiency: https://www.bva.bund.de/DE/Services/Buerger/Ausweis-Dokumente-Recht/Waffenrecht/Sachkundepruefung/sachkunde_node.html (Federal Office of Administration) Not every state publishes its own catalog with an official answer key. Where that's the case, you study with the official Lower Saxony catalog: over 2,500 answered questions in the same subject areas. The examination regulations of your own state always take precedence. Weidmannsheil, your hunting exam awaits.
