Full description
OrbitLens shows which navigation satellites your phone currently receives and which of them were used for the latest location fix. A list, sky radar and camera view make azimuth, elevation, signal strength and constellation visible. OrbitLens also computes selected bright spacecraft, weather satellites and optional Starlink satellites from published orbital elements. Measured and computed values are clearly distinguished throughout the app. Features: • home screen with a short guide to the list, radar, camera and filter • live GNSS status for GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou, QZSS, NavIC and SBAS • satellite list with signal strength, fix usage and a constellation colour key • sky radar with azimuth and elevation • AR camera overlay • bright objects such as the ISS, Tiangong and Hubble • weather and Starlink categories • explicitly requested satellite imagery from NOAA, EUMETSAT and NASA • local orbital-data cache for limited offline use • no advertising, account or analytics SDK Privacy: Precise location is processed only while OrbitLens is visible. Exact coordinates, GNSS receiver data and camera images are neither stored nor transmitted. When an image from an orbiting weather satellite is explicitly opened, the imagery provider receives only a 5° grid cell derived from the position, not the exact coordinates. See the privacy policy for full details. Accuracy: The camera overlay, compass and computed distances have technical tolerances. OrbitLens labels estimated and computed values; it is not a surveying, navigation or safety instrument.

What's new

OrbitLens 1.2.1 fixes a bug that often kept the ISS, Hubble, weather and Starlink satellites missing for minutes indoors: the app waited for a GPS position to show them. Until one arrives, it now uses the approximate location Android knows from Wi-Fi or the mobile network; once GPS delivers a position, that takes over. Received navigation satellites and the fix indicator remain real receiver data. The privacy policy is updated.
