Full description
A clock that does nothing but show the time – large, calm and distraction-free. Big digits with running seconds, the date and the current weather below, all on a pure black background. No ads, no accounts, no notifications. TWO VIEWS, DEPENDING ON ORIENTATION In portrait, slim digits sit centered with date and weather beneath them. In landscape, the time fills almost the full width – like a classic digital clock on a nightstand. It switches automatically when you rotate, without restarting. TRUE BLACK, NOT DARK GREY The background is real black. On OLED displays these pixels stay completely off. That saves power at night and makes only the digits glow in a dark room. WEATHER WITHOUT LOCATION ACCESS Below the date you see temperature, place and conditions, for example "7 °C · Donauwörth, cloudy". The location is derived roughly from your internet connection – the app does not access the device's location services and requests no location permission. Without internet the clock keeps running, only the weather line disappears. FULLY ADJUSTABLE Via the gear icon at the bottom left: five colors (white, grey, red, green, blue), thin, normal or bold digits, three text sizes and four date formats. Seconds, weather and automatic dimming can each be turned off. Everything is saved. MADE FOR THE NIGHT If you like, the display dims after ten seconds without a touch; a tap brings back full brightness. Red and grey are the least glaring at night. STAYS ON, WON'T BURN IN The screen does not turn off while the clock is running. To prevent burn-in on OLED displays, the display drifts imperceptibly by a few pixels over several minutes. FOR CONTINUOUS USE To dedicate a device to being a clock, you can pin the screen or set the clock as your home app. That turns an old phone into a permanent nightstand clock. NO ACCOUNTS, NO PROFILES The app requests exactly one permission: internet, solely for the weather. No location access, no account, no analytics, no ads. Only your own settings are stored on the device. REQUIREMENT Android 13 or newer.
