Daliclock brings XDaliClock's classic digit shapes to your watch. Each changing digit smoothly transforms into its next shape, with distinctive serifs and the original contrast between fine and bold strokes. • Large hours and minutes • Animated seconds that you can turn off • Optional date • Three colors: white, green and amber • Automatic 12- or 24-hour format following your system setting • Always-on display with static hours and minutes • English and German settings Daliclock is a watch face for watches running Wear OS 6 or later. It needs no phone companion app, account or internet connection. It contains no ads or in-app purchases. After installing, select Daliclock in your watch's watch face picker. Use the watch face editor to change seconds, date and color. Dali Clock is a very old idea. Steve Capps wrote the original in 1979 for the Xerox Alto and ported it to the first Macintosh in 1984, inspired by the morphing in Peter Foldes' 1974 short film La Faim. In 1991 Jamie Zawinski re-implemented it from scratch for X Windows on Unix as XDaliClock. Daliclock's digits are based on Zawinski's original XDaliClock artwork. Its copyright and permission notice is included in the app.
