Mit der KI-Trainer-App können Nutzerinnen und Nutzer direkt im Feld melden, ob an ihrem aktuellen Standort unter anderem Anzeichen von Cercospora festgestellt wurden. Die Meldungen helfen dabei, ein satellitengestütztes KI-Modell zur Erkennung von Pflanzenkrankheiten zu trainieren und zu verbessern. Die App erhebt nur die für diesen Zweck erforderlichen Daten: Name, E-Mail-Adresse, den Standort der Feldmeldung und die Angabe „Cercospora erkannt: Ja oder Nein“. Herausgeber und technischer Betreiber ist die CORAmaps GmbH. Wissenschaftliche Unterstützung und Validierung erfolgt durch das Institut für Zuckerrübenforschung gGmbH. Datenschutz Die Verarbeitung und Speicherung der App-Daten erfolgen auf Servern der europäischen Union. Es werden keine Werbeprofile erstellt und keine Daten zu Werbezwecken verkauft. Die App verwendet keine externen Werbe- oder Trackingdienste.
