Full description
Turn your Android phone into a wireless Bluetooth keyboard and trackpad for any device that accepts a real keyboard — your PC, Mac, smart TV, console, Raspberry Pi or tablet. It connects as a standard Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, so the device on the other end needs no app, no driver and no setup. If it can pair with an ordinary Bluetooth keyboard, it works. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Type on a smart TV, Fire TV or set-top box instead of hunting letters with the remote • Use your phone as a spare keyboard when the real one is broken or across the room • Type and click on a Raspberry Pi or mini-PC without plugging anything in • Couch computing — keyboard and trackpad for a media PC, no batteries to swap • Enter numbers on a laptop that has no numeric keypad KEYBOARD • Type with your phone's own keyboard, in your language — text is sent for the keyboard layout your computer uses: 15 layouts including German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Nordic and UK, for Windows, Linux and Android as well as Mac • Full keyboard mode: every key of a laptop keyboard on one screen — Esc, F1–F12, Ctrl, Alt, Win/⌘, Tab, Caps Lock and the arrows, labelled in your computer's layout. Best in landscape • Ctrl, Shift, Alt and Win/⌘: tap once for the next key, double-tap to lock. Lock Shift and use the arrows to select text • Arrows, Delete and Backspace repeat while held TRACKPAD • One finger moves the pointer, a tap clicks, two fingers scroll, a two-finger tap right-clicks • Trackpad-only mode gives the whole screen to the pad, with tap-and-drag and gliding scroll • Tuned for low latency: the pointer follows your finger without a frame of lag MORE MODES • Numpad — a real numeric keypad for spreadsheets, with a navigation layer • Media remote — play/pause, skip and volume for music and video • Presenter — next/previous slide for Keynote, PowerPoint, Google Slides and PDFs PRIVACY • Bluetooth permission only for the keyboard itself • Nothing you type is recorded, stored or uploaded; no account, no sign-in • Works offline once paired REQUIREMENTS • Android 10 or newer • A phone with Bluetooth LE peripheral support (most phones from 2019 on) • The other device must support standard Bluetooth keyboards — practically every PC, Mac, Linux machine, smart TV and tablet does FREE TO TRY, NO ADS No ads at all. You get 90 minutes of connected use for free, and time only counts while a device is actually connected — leaving the app open costs nothing. One in-app purchase unlocks unlimited use for good: no subscription, and every feature is included either way. Already bought "Remove ads"? You have unlimited use — nothing to do. PAIRING IN 10 SECONDS 1. Open the app — it shows the exact name it is visible as 2. Open Bluetooth settings on the device you want to type on 3. Pick that name from the list and confirm the pairing 4. Start typing Built by an independent developer. Questions, bug reports or ideas: apopov.de/androhid or [email protected]

What's new

New in 2.15: • Media Remote (⋮ menu) now has a Home screen button — on an Android phone, tablet, handheld or TV box it goes straight to the home screen
