Die App zeichnet Ihre Fahrten auf und analysiert diese anhand von mehreren Kriterien wie Beschleunigung, Brems- und Kurvenfahrverhalten, Geschwindigkeit, Tag/Zeit und Straßenart. Auf diese Weise bestimmen Sie am Ende selbst, wie viel Sie sparen. Denn je vernünftiger Ihr Fahrstil ist, desto höher wird Ihr Bonus und damit Ihre Beitragsrückzahlung. Fahr + Spar kann von allen Autofahrern mit einer ADAC Autoversicherung ab Tarif 10/2019 genutzt werden. Die App ist natürlich kostenlos. Zusätzlich können Sie mit Hilfe der Fahr + Spar App Erfahrungen sammeln und dabei hilfreiche Tipps nutzen, um Ihren Fahrstil kontinuierlich zu verbessern. Neben einer Wertung für jede Fahrt erhalten Sie am Ende des Tages eine Gesamtwertung in Form einer Medaille. Dadurch können Sie sicherer am Steuer werden und Ihr Fahrverhalten verbessern. Jedes Mal, wenn Sie Fahr + Spar öffnen, sehen Sie im Cockpit auf einen Blick den aktuellen Stand zu Ihrem Extra-Bonus und Ihrer Jahresmedaille. Ihnen wird zudem angezeigt, wie viele Fahrten Sie noch benötigen, um Ihre Monatsmedaille zu erreichen.
