Full description

A sheet of paper, two lines of poetry, tied to this very moment. Open the app and meet a couplet, chosen by the sky outside: the hour, the season, the weather of your city. Not a library: one couplet at a time. Tap it for the whole poem; pull down, or shake, for another; share it as text or as a sheet of paper. The poems are classical Chinese, set in Traditional Chinese type; interface in English, Simplified and Traditional Chinese. A scroll on your desk (widget), paper across it (live wallpaper), and your encounters mounted as a scroll — bought once, there ever after. Beyond these, the app itself is complete and free. Here & Afar: besides here, set one faraway city; that scroll keeps its sky. Encounters: every meeting is kept on your phone, like a private album; mount it as a long image, or a handscroll PDF for printing. The book is in your hand: the poems and the choosing all happen on device; it does not depend on our servers. Readable offline, only without weather. No account, no tracking. Location is optional: approximate location only tells the app which city you are in, or just pick a city.

What's new

The widget can go transparent now: no paper, just the poem on your own wallpaper. Light or dark text, your pick. It's under "Scroll ground" in Settings; long-pressing the widget works too. The widget can shrink smaller. The seal has been recut. Small fixes.
