Storage Monkey is a scanner app for warehouse operators - it turns a phone or a rugged terminal into a tool for moving goods around the warehouse. Every action runs against your own Storage Monkey server; the app is a thin client that only consumes and never decides on the server's behalf. WHAT IT DOES - Picking: load a cart, pick orders from positions with "go to position" guidance, piece counters and progress tracking. - Packing: dock a cart at a stand, pack orders, wait for the carrier label and get alerted when a shipment needs attention. - Put-away: place goods onto storage positions (simple and bulk) and move stock between positions. - Receiving: receive goods with a receipt and put them away. - Stocktaking: count the physical state of a position and write it back. - Scan check: test the reader and printed labels without writing anything. WHO IT IS FOR Warehouses and e-shops running their own Storage Monkey instance. Permissions and available features are controlled by the administrator on the server (per company and per user), so each operator only sees what they are allowed to. HARDWARE Works on ordinary phones (camera scanning), rugged terminals with a built-in reader (Honeywell) and Bluetooth scanners. Optimized for gloved use and reading at a distance. NOTE The app requires access to a Storage Monkey instance and an account with scanner permission. It is not a standalone app - it is a client for your warehouse system.
