Tap to fly. Thread the gaps. See how far you get before the ground finds you. Updraft is a one-thumb arcade flyer: an endless flying game you can start in a second and lose an hour to. Every run takes you further up the country, from coastal dunes to the fiords, and the flying gets harder as the scenery changes. ONE-TAP CONTROLS Tap anywhere to flap. That's the whole control scheme — playable one-handed, on the bus, in a queue, portrait only. FOUR POWER-UPS • SHIELD — survive one crash and keep the run alive • SLOW-MO — the whole world drops to half speed • MAGNET — coins pull toward you through the gaps • TINY — shrink small enough to slip through the tightest columns FIVE PLACES TO FLY • Coastal dunes — driftwood posts and sea spray, gentle wind • Beech forest — mossy trunks, the pace picks up • Volcanic plateau — basalt columns and ash, gaps tighten • Alpine scree — snow, jagged peaks, and the columns start drifting • Fiord crossing — sheer walls and mist, everything at once Clear all five and it loops, faster each lap. DAY AND NIGHT The light turns as you fly — dusk, dark, dawn, midday. Coins are worth double after dark, so a night run scores differently from a daylight one. DAILY GOALS Three fresh goals every day, the same three for every player in the world. Finish them for coins, and keep your streak alive. COINS AND SECOND CHANCES Collect coins as you fly. When you crash you can get one run back — spend coins, or watch a short ad. Your choice, once per run. TEN BIRDS TO FLY AS Kea, kākā, tūī, kererū, pīwakawaka, takahē, kākāpō and more, unlocked with the coins you collect. Looks only — every bird flies exactly the same. CHASE A HIGH SCORE Your best run is saved with the date you set it, and the crash screen tells you which stretch of country beat you. No timers, no energy, no sign-in, no account. PLAYS OFFLINE No connection needed. The whole game is on your phone. FIVE LANGUAGES English, Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian and Hindi. ADS AND PURCHASES Ads appear between runs, never during one, and never in your first couple of flights.
