Komisioni i Prokurimit Publik (KPP) është organi më i lartë administrativ në fushën e prokurimeve që shqyrton ankesat për procedurat e prokurimit publik, koncesioneve/partneritetit publik privat, ankandeve publike dhe procedurave konkurruese të dhënies së lejeve minerare, organ i krijuar me ligjin 10 170, datë 22.10.2009 “Për disa ndryshime dhe shtesa në ligjin nr.9643, datë 20.11.2006 “Për prokurimin publik”, i ndryshuar”. Komisioni i Prokurimit Publik është një organ kolegjial i përbërë nga 5 anëtarë, nga të cilët një Kryetar dhe një Nënkryetar. Kryetari dhe anëtarët e Komisionit të Prokurimit Publik emërohen nga Kuvendi me propozim të Këshillit të Ministrave për një mandat 5-vjeçar me të drejtë rizgjedhje vetëm një herë. Komisioni ka statusin e një institucioni të pavarur, i cili financohet nga buxheti i shtetit, status i cili u sanksionua me ndryshimet e bëra me ligjin nr.47/2017, datë 13.04.2017 “Për disa ndryshime dhe shtesa në ligjin nr.9643, datë 20.11.2006 “Për prokurimin publik” (i ndryshuar), në përmbushje të marrëveshjeve me partnerët ndërkombëtarë, në veçanti me Bashkimin Evropian dhe Bankën Botërore. Aktualisht, Komisioni funksionon në mbështetje të ligjit nr.162/2020 “Për prokurimin publik”.
